Fly Ash Utilization Analysis as A Substitute of Cement in Cement Treated Base (CTB)

Cement Treated Base (CTB) is a pavement layer located between the sub-base and surface layers. This uses fine aggregate (sand) cement as binder. Fly ash coal burning waste that can be used an added material for road pavement. study aimed to analyze use of fly in treated base mixture. was substitute cement. The composition consists (sand), cement, water. compressive strength test carried out on variations object. requirements CTB specifications were have results ranging 45 kg/cm2 – 55 at age object 7 days. After being tested, it found 70% 5% Portland 25% had average 49.823 kg/cm2.
